meine neue rme hdspe expresscard in meinem macbook pro schließt jetzt mein altes rme multiface wieder an. über midi in/out mit dem multiface und dem macbook pro verbunden, ist das tenori-on von yamaha als externer hardware master sequencer der signalgeber für die kraftvolle allein stehende (standalone) battery 3 von nantive-instruments… das rockt ungemein. unter mac os 10.4.11 ziehe ich aus dem finder direkt die soundfilez in die blinkende zelle. einfacher könnte es nicht gehen. wer es nicht glaubt, dem führ ich es gerne vor die soundfilez liegen auf meinem toughdrive pro fw & usb 250 gb, das ich bei tuneskeeper für brutto € 139,00 gekauft habe und über firewire verbunden habe…

House Effect VST

With this VST plugin it is very easy to create a house-typical extreme compression. Simply chain it as an insert-effect after your synthesizer and connect its MIDI input to the baseline via an aux-send of the percussion track. The basedrum will now trigger a strong gain.

This effect can be considered as the contrary to a midi gate.
